TuboHotel:Eco-Friendly Recycled Concrete Pipes Hotel
 TuboHotel:Eco-Friendly Recycled Concrete Pipes Hotel

The TuboHotel is an amazing eco-responsible tourist spot made from recycled concrete pipes sheltering 20 rooms. Located in Tepoztlán, Mexico, the Tubo Hotel is inspired by architect Andreas Strauss’ Dasparkhotel – the first hotel made from reclaimed concrete pipes. Overlooking the Sierra del Tepozteco, the eco hotel is made of three volumes of concrete tubes stacked on top of each other, in order to gain as much space as possible.

Located in a wooded setting of unusual features, the surrounding environment provides an unique natural environment and for the project. The goal was to have the ability to build a fast and affordable hotel that offered lodging for Tepoztlan tourist. With a projection of 20 rooms.

The first three tubocretos modules and the placement plan were done by T3arc, while the construction of the rest of the modules remained in the hands of the hotel’s administration. The TuboHotel covers 220 square meters and it took 3 months for it to be finished. This hotel is perfect if you’re on a vacation that is focused on visiting and having fun rather than on rest and relaxation.
